Transmitter Time-out
To ensure that an active Transmitter blocks the FlexRay bus permanently, a time-out function is implemented
within the TLE9221SX. In case the Transmitter is active for the time period t > dBDTxActiveMax, the Transmitter
will be disabled automatically (see Figure 39). The Transmitter time-out sets the Transmitter time-out bit (bit 7) in
the SIR and also the error bit. In BD_Normal mode, the Transmitter time-out is indicated at the ERRN output by a
logical “low” signal. To reset the TxEN or BGE time-out, either change over again to BD_Normal mode or read out
the SIR (see Chapter 6.3.1 “Reset the ERRN Output Pin”).
