Description
Software should not rely on the value of a reserved bit. To provide
compatibility with future products, the value of a reserved bit should be
preserved across a read-modify-write operation.
Indicates the direction the encoder is rotating.
0: Forward rotation
1: Reverse rotation
Indicates that an error was detected in the gray code sequence (that is,
both signals changing at the same time).
