Controller Area Network (CAN) Module
Register 6: CAN Test (CANTST), offset 0x014
This is the test mode register for self-test and external pin access. It is write-enabled by the Test
bit in the CANCTL register. Different test functions may be combined but when the Tx bit is not
equal to 0x0, it disturbs message transmits.

Description
Software should not rely on the value of a reserved bit. To provide
compatibility with future products, the value of a reserved bit should be
preserved across a read-modify-write operation.
