The RC6/AN8/SS(1,2) is configurable to function as one
of the following:
• a general purpose I/O
• an analog input for the ADC (except PIC16F631)
• a slave select input
Note 1: SS is available on
PIC16F687/PIC16F689/PIC16F690 only.
2: AN8 is not implemented on PIC16F631.
