It is important to verify the effectiveness of the freewheeling solution (see Figure 8), which means the selection of
the proper diode and of an appropriate free wheeling path. With regard to the choice of the free wheeling diode,
low threshold and fast response are key parameter to achieve an effective result.
Moreover the diode should be placed in order to have the shortest wire connection with the load (see Figure 9 ).
