11. VS1053 VERSION CHANGES

â¢ WMA,AAC: more robust resync.

â¢ WMA,AAC: If resync is performed, broadcast mode is automatically activated. The broadcast

mode disables ï¬le size checking, and decoding continues until SM CANCEL is set or reset is

performed.

â¢ Treble control ï¬xed (volume change could cause bad artefacts).

â¢ MPEG Layer I mono ï¬xed.

â¢ MPEG Layer II half-rate decoding ï¬xed (frame size was calculated wrong).

â¢ MPEG Layer II accuracy problem ï¬xed, invalid grouped values set to 0.

â¢ WAV parser now skips unknown RIFF chunks.

â¢ IMA ADPCM: Maximum blocksize is now 4096 bytes (4088 samples stereo, 8184 mono). Thus,

now also plays 44100Hz stereo.

â¢ Rt-midi: starts if in reset GPIO0=â0â, GPIO1=â1â, GPIO2&3 give earSpeaker setup.

â¢ NewSinTest() and NewSinSweep() added (AIADDR = 0x4020/0x4022) AICTRL0 and AICTRL1

set sin frequency for left/right.

â¢ Clears memory before SPI boot and not in InitHardware().
