Product Description
The CC2550 is a low cost true single chip
2.4GHz transmitter designed for very low
power wireless applications. The circuit is
intended for the ISM (Industrial, Scientific and
Medical) and SRD (Short Range Device) freq-
uency band at 2400MHz-2483.5MHz.
The RF transmitter is integrated with a highly
configurable baseband modulator which has a
configurable data rate up to 500kbps. The
communication range can be increased by
enabling a Forward Error Correction option,
which is integrated in the modulator.
The CC2550 provides extensive hardware
support for packet handling, data buffering and
burst transmissions.
The main operating parameters and the 64-
byte transmit FIFO of CC2550 can be controlled
via an SPI interface. In a typical system, the

technology in 0.18µm CMOS.
