3.4 Control Register 1 (P4)
Control register 1 consists of 8 bits. The contents that can be controlled are as shown below.
After reset, the register becomes 0010 0110B.

b0: Specifies the input mode of the S0 port. â0â = OFF mode (high impedance); â1â = IN (input mode).
b1: Specifies the I/O mode of the KI/O port. â0â = IN (input mode); â1â = OUT (output mode).
b2: Specifies the I/O mode of the S1/LED port. â0â = S1 (input mode); â1â = LED (output mode).
b3: Specifies the use of the STOP mode release for the S2 port (with/without pull-down resistor). â0â = Disabled
(pull-down unavailable); â1â = Enabled (pull-down available).
b4: Specifies the availability of the pull-down resistor for the S0/S1 port input mode. â0â = OFF (unavailable);
â1â = ON (available).
b5: Specifies the availability of the pull-down resistor for the KI port. â0â = OFF (unavailable);
â1â = ON (available).
Remark In output mode or in OFF mode, all the pull-down resistors are automatically disconnected.
