only supported configurations. Again, they are here for illustration purposes only. Other data rates and path combinations are achievable,
as long as device-aggregate bandwidth restrictions and per-port bandwidth restrictions are met.
FOOTNOTE:
(1) A high speed port can be E3 (34.4 Mbps), T3 (44.7 Mbps), or HSSI (52 Mbps) without exceeding the maximum of six serial ports.
CX28500’s configuration options are extremely flexible. Each logical channel can be assigned to a physical stream
ranging from 8 Kbps (sub-channeling mode) to 52 Mbps.
CX28500’s serial ports can interface to a standard PCM highway or TSBUS bus, which can be configured to
operate at any of the serial port rates given in Tables 1-4 and 1-5.
