Notes:
1. Minimum DC voltage on input or I/O pins is –0.5 V. During
voltage transitions, inputs may overshoot V_SS to –2.0 V
for periods of up to 20 ns. Maximum DC voltage on output
and I/O pins is V_CC + 0.5 V. During voltage transitions,
outputs may overshoot to V_CC + 2.0 V for periods up to
20 ns.
2. No more than one output shorted at a time. Durations of
the short circuit should not be greater than one second.
Conditions equal V_OUT = 0.5 V or 5.0 V, V_CC = V_CC max.
These values are chosen to avoid test problems caused
by tester ground degradation. This parameter is sampled
and not 100% tested, but guaranteed by characterization.
3. V_PP1 and V_PP2 are not connected.

these or any other conditions above those indicated in the op-
erational sections of this specification is not implied. Expo-
sure of the device to absolute maximum rating conditions for
