This trigger is configured by the Analog Comparator Control

This trigger is configured by the Analog Comparator Control
1 (ACCTL1) register (page 1024).

External (GPIO Pins)
This trigger is connected to the GPIO interrupt for the
corresponding GPIO (see “ADC Trigger Source” on page 586).
Note:
GPIOs that have AINx signals as alternate
functions can be used to trigger the ADC. However,
the pin cannot be used as both a GPIO and an
analog input.
