8. Engineering Tests
This reference design completed the following product testing for pre-certification purposes:
• ZigBee Home Automation (HA) v1.2
• FCC Emissions
• Antenna Radiation Patterns
8.1 ZigBee Home Automation HA v1.2
The contact sensor went through a preliminary HA 1.2 testing to verify compliance with the ZigBee standard.
8.2 FCC Emissions Testing
This design went through a preliminary FCC pre-scan testing to verify compliance with FCC Part 15 restrictions. Such testing is done to
ensure customers are given a design that can pass FCC. FCC compliance does not transfer to modules built according to this refer-
ence design, even if the design is copied exactly.
