This LSI includes a successive-approximation-type 10-bit A/D converter that allows up to eight
analog input channels to be selected.
17.1 Features
• 10-bit resolution
• Input channels: Eight analog input channels
• Analog conversion voltage range can be specified using the analog power supply voltage pin
(AVCC) as an analog reference voltage.
• Conversion time: 13.4 µs per channel (at 20-MHz operation)
• Two kinds of operating modes
Single mode: Single-channel A/D conversion
Scan mode: Continuous A/D conversion on one to four channels
• Four data registers
Conversion results are held in a 16-bit data register for each channel
• Sample and hold function
• Three kinds of A/D conversion start
Software
Timer (8-bit timer) conversion start trigger
External trigger signal (ADTRG)
• Interrupt source
A/D conversion end interrupt (ADI) request can be generated
