Protect Mode
Changing Set Values
By pressing the Shift Key while a parameter is displayed, the set value can be
changed (setting status). The PROG status indicator will flash. Change the set
value as required, and press the Mode Key to register the setting and move to
the next parameter.

• In the Setting Mode, measurement stops and all outputs turn
OFF.
• Depending on the output type of the model used, some param-
eters (indicated in
) are not displayed (and hence can-
not be set).
• If the operating mode is changed, the prescale values and lin-
ear output range parameters will be reset to their initial values.
Set the operating mode first.
Note 1: Set a number in the range 2 to 4 to set more than one prescale value
(i.e., to display measurements in more than one unit).
2: These parameters will be displayed if F2, F3, F4, or F5 (i.e., operating
mode 2, 3, 4, or 5) is set.
3: This parameter is displayed if F6 (i.e., operating mode 6) is set. If a
parameter other than 5cal is set, the prescaling menu ( p5cl) will not be
displayed.
4. A number in the range 1 to 4 will be displayed.
