Connection of WDOUT pin differs between µPD17P218 and µPD17225, 17226, 17227, and
17228 when OTP is evaluated on µPD17225 subseries board and when WDOUT pin is not
used. When µPD17P218 is used, malfunctioning does not occur even when WDOUT pin is
pulled up, though connection can be changed by using a jumper switch on the external board.
Supply voltage, low-voltage detection voltage, oscillator characteristics, and noise characteris-
tics differ.
Although µPD17P218 is used as one-time PROM for evaluation for both subseries,
µPD17P218 cannot be used to evaluate the low-voltage high-speed operation of the µPD17225
subseries.
