This manual gives information on the CM312 Communications utilityModule. This module
supports four versatile serial ports with jumper configurable IRQ lines and I/O addresses and one
10Base-T / 10Base-2 ethernet interface for your PC/104 applications.
CM312 Communications utilityModule
The CM312 Communications utilityModule was designed to provide four versatile serial ports and
an ethernet interface to support the Real Time Devices cpuModules and other standard PC/104
processor modules.
Features

• Up to 1.5 Mbps baud transmit/receive operation (24Mhz)
• 16 byte transmit FIFO/16 byte receive FIFO with error flags
• Independent transmit and receive control
• Standard modem interface
• Jumper selectable to interrupt line, base address, RS232/RS422-485 mode per port
• Jumper selectable enable/disable per port
• Includes 42 different selectable I/O base addresses
• Extended temperature range: -40 to +85C
