Register Description
This register is used to write data to be transmitted.

7–0 ^{DAT_OUT[7–0] SSI Data Out}
Software uses this bit field to write eight bits to be shifted out on the SSI_DO pin.
After writing to this bit field, software must write a Transmit command or a Simultaneous
Transmit/Receive command to the SSICMD register (see page 19-5) to send the data.
The contents of this bit field (DAT_OUT) are not destroyed when transmitted, so the user can
repeatedly transmit the same data by writing the appropriate transmit command to the
SSICMD register.
Programming Notes
This register should not be written while the BSY bit is set in the SSISTA register (see page 19-6).
