Data Output Modes
The DDC316 provides two data output modes: time
division multiplexed (TDM) and parallel. In TDM
mode, data from all 16 channels are output on a
single data output line, DOUT1, as shown in Figure 9.
In this mode, DOUT2 through DOUT4 are not used
and forced to logic low.
In parallel output mode, as shown in Figure 10, four
channels of data are output on the four DOUT lines,
DOUT1 thorough DOUT4.
In either mode, the most significant bit (MSB) is
shifted out first.
