3. Power supply for lithium-ion battery pack
When the lithium-ion battery goes down to the overdischarge voltage, the built-in voltage detector powers
OFF the voltage regulator, and at the same time it transmits the RESET signal to the microcomputer. R₁,
C₁, R₂ and C₂ are attached to eliminate the voltage exceeding the absolute maximum ratings of charger.
C₃ is attached to give a delay and to release the RESET signal after power supply voltage for
microcomputer (V_OUT) rises high enough.
