1 INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this guide is to demonstrate how to program the S1D13503 LCD controller, with reference made to the
S5U13503B00C evaluation board. The first half of this guide presents the basic concepts of LCD controllers.
The second half of this guide presents programming examples which are combined in a simple menu-driven program. Most
of the program is written in the ‘C’ programming language, with some parts written in 8086 assembly.
