Lost carrier to hang up delay - Sets the
length of time that the modem waits before
hanging up after the loss of a carrier. This
allows the modem to distinguish between
disturbances that momentarily break the
connection and the remote modem hanging
up.

DTMF tone duration - Defines the duration
of DTMF tones for tone dialling. The length
of pause between each DTMF tone is the
same as this duration time.

Escape code guard time - Specifies the
minimum time before entry of the escape
sequence. This value also dictates the
acceptable entry speed (inter-character time)
for each escape character.
