8.2.2 5-V Current Limiter with Load Fault Indicator
Figure 36 is the example circuit for 5-V current limiter with load fault indicator, it has the following features:
• Output voltage equals +V_IN minimum dropout voltage, which varies with output current. Current limits at a
maximum of 380 mA (typical).
• Select R1 so that the comparator input voltage is 1.23 V at the output voltage which corresponds to the
desired fault current value.
