Chapter 7. Modes
This RDK supports the 3 CPU modes: Single Chip Mode, Boot Mode and USB Boot Mode. These modes are selected by SW5 MD0 and
MD1 pins. Placing the switch in the ‘On’ position sets the value to a logic ‘0’, and the ‘Off’ position sets the value to a logic ‘1’. The base
configurations should only be set when the RDK is powered off.

The RDK can also be configured to run in either Big-Endian or Little-Endian memory configuration mode.

The RDK can also be placed into either Debug Mode or Run Mode via switch 4 on SW5. Placing the switch in the ‘OFF’ position selects Debug
mode, the ‘ON’ position selects the default Run mode.
