*Shielded wires must not be peeled in excess of 2 cm
(0.787 in) for receiver (white lead) and 5 cm (1.969 in) for
the light source (red lead).
**Response time is 1 ms when terminal 8 is left open and
2 ms when terminal 8 is short-circuited with the
0 V terminal of the power supply (negative side).
