Bit 0,1,2,3,4,5 - Ignored
Bit 6,7 - Guard tones, 00 None (AT&G0), 01
550Hz (AT&G1), 10 1800Hz (AT&G2)
S27 0-255 Decimal General mode selection - Provides the
following functions:
Bit 0,1,3,4,5- Ignored
Bit 2 - Line interface control, 0 Two wire line
interface (AT&L0), 1 Four wire line interface
(AT&L1)
Bit 6 - Bell/ITU-T select, 0 ITU-T standard
(ATB0), 1 Bell standard (ATB1)
Bit 7 - Ring detection select, 0 BT (AT@B0), 1
Bell (AT@B1).
