The EMIF06-MSD04F3 is compliant with IEC61000-4-2 level 4 for external lines and level 2
for internal lines.
To maximize the effectiveness of the protection device:
• place it as close as possible to the SD card connector (to shunt the surge as close as
possible to its source)
• minimize the return to the ground inductance
• if possible, place the vias between the different ground planes of the PCB
