Introduction
Non-volatile SD card memory is now widely implemented in various formats (standard, mini
and micro) in multimedia hardware such as cameras, computers, GPS and mobile phones.
Capacity has rapidly increased to 64 GB, while the data transfer speed has simultaneously
reached 95 MB/s for "UHS-I, class 1". These new capabilities are described by the SD3.01
standard, which all devices implementing the standard must adhere to.
