Device operations (instructions)
INITIATE()
Command Code = 06h,00h
Prior to any other command, the SR176 must be activated by an INITIATE command. All
other commands sent to the SR176 before the INITIATE are ignored. In response to
receiving the INITIATE command, the SR176 sends back its Chip_ID, using an 8-bit format
(Figure 17).
Upon receiving a valid INITIATE command, the SR176 switches to the ACTIVE state, where
it will not answer to any new INITIATE command. Once In the ACTIVE state, the SR176 will
remain in this state until it receives a valid SELECT command.
