Operational Description
3.13.4 Fax Pump Startup Procedure
The host configures the fax pump either as originator or answerer when a physical
connection has been established. After initialisation, the fax pump responds with
RSP_READY, indicating, that it is ready for the next procedure.
At this point the host must issue either a command CMD_FRH or CMD_FTH depending
upon if the host is answering or originating a facsimile connection. The interaction of the
host and the faxpump is as shown in the flow charts for transmission and reception of
HDLC and binary data.
