MAXPL[15:0]:
The Maximum Packet Length (MAXPL[15:0]) bits are used to set the
maximum packet length. Packets larger than this length are marked with an
error. The packet length used here is defined as the number of bytes
encapsulated into the POS frame, including the FCS but excluding byte
stuffing.
The maximum packet length supported by the RXFP is 65534 bytes
(0xFFFE).
