FUNCTION
Active-Low Reset Output. RESET is either an open-drain or a push-pull output (see the
Selector Guide). RESET asserts low when V_CC drops below the selected threshold and

remains low for the V_CC reset timeout period after V_CC rises above the reset threshold.
The RESET one-shot asserts low for the reset timeout period when the manual reset
input is asserted longer than the setup delay. The open-drain output requires an external
pullup resistor.

SRESET Soft Reset Output. SRESET is the debounced version of MR.
Setup Delay Select Input. Connect SEL to V_CC, GND, or leave unconnected to select

SEL a desired setup delay (see Table 1a); or connect an external resistor between SEL and
GND to select a desired setup delay (E suffix only, see Tables 1a and 1b).

Manual Reset Input. Internal 50kΩ pullup to V_CC. Pull MR low for the setup delay (t_SU)
to one-shot pulse RESET for the reset timeout period.
