The Model IAl75 Isolation Amplifier featuresvery
high linearity,input,/outputisolation,and common-mode
rejection,very low drift, and externallyprogrammable
gain.Its 0.00590linearityassurescompatibilitywith l2-bit
dataacquisitionsystemsa, nd its ability to operateat
common-modeinput voltagesup to 5000VDC enables
operationwith singlesourcesin high voltagesystemsand
otherhazardouslocations.Common-moderejectionis at
least120dB with sourceimbalanceof up to 5000ohms.
lnput voltagenoiseis lpV, lOHz to I kHz, and current
noiseis l0 pA for the samerange. The gain of the ampli-
fier is programmablefrom lV,/V to 1000V/Vby meansof
an externallyconnectedresistancvealue.The internaloscil-
lator usedto providemodulationand demodulationfor
input isolationcan be synchronizedwith thoseof asso-
ciatedModel IAl75 amplifiersby meansof an external
trigger,to avoid impositionof beat-frequencpyhenomena
on the output signals.An independent+ I4VDC, + l5 mA
supplyin the input section, with the samevoltageisolation
asthe amplifierinput, is usedto poweran externaltrans-
ducer,or preamplifier.
