VCO Timing Capacitor (Pins 13 and 14)
The VCO free-running frequency, f_o, is inversely proportional to timing capacitor C₀ connected between pins 13 and 14.
(See Figure 8.)
VCO Output (Pin 15)
The VCO produces approximately a 2.5Vp-p output signal at this pin. The DC output level is approximately 2 volts below
V_CC. This pin should be connected to pin 9 through a 10kW resistor to increase the output current drive capability. For
high voltage operation (V_CC > 20V), a 20kW resistor is recommended. It is also advisable to connect a 500W resistor in
series with this output for short circuit protection.
