Tripp Lite's 6 in. USB 2.0 port liberator allows connection of a cell/smartphone to your notebook/laptop computer for charging and syncing while creating a
second port for other peripheral connections, such as a printer, external mouse, etc. Plug the U030-06N-HUB into your notebook's USB port and your 5-pin,
Mini-B phone port into the Mini-B Male pigtail cable. A second female "A" port is now created for attaching other USB peripherals, such as a printer, USB
external mouse, etc. ( note: will not charge iPad or other tablets and devices that require 2.5 Amps or higher ).
