CONNECTING AN RC-OSCILLATOR CIRCUIT TO THE SN74HC4060 DEVICE
The SN74HC4060 device consists of an oscillator section and 14 ripple-carry binary counter stages. The oscillator
configuration allows design of either RC- or crystal-oscillator circuits.
When an RC-oscillator circuit is implemented, two resistors and a capacitor are required. The components are
attached to the terminals as shown:
