POWER SUPPLY SEQUENCING
POWER-UP SEQUENCE
The recommended power-up sequence of the ADV7842 is as
follows:
1. 3.3 V supplies
2. 2.5 V supply (applies only if using DDR memory)
3. 1.8 V supplies

Notes
Reset should be held low while the supplies are being powered up.
• 3.3 V supplies should be powered up first.
• 2.5 V supply should be powered after the 3.3 V supplies are
established but before the 1.8 V supplies.
• 1.8 V supplies should be powered up last.
The ADV7842 can alternatively be powered up by simulta-
neously asserting all supplies.
In this case, care must be taken to ensure that a lower rated supply
does not go above a higher rated supply level, because the supplies
are being established.
POWER-DOWN SEQUENCE
The ADV7842 supplies can be deasserted simultaneously as
long as a higher rated supply does not go below a lower rated
supply.
