Description
The PT6440 Excalibur™ power modules
are a series of high performance Integrated
Switching Regulators (ISRs), housed in a
thermally efficient solderable copper case.
These modules operate from input voltages
as low as 3.1V to produce a high-output low-
voltage power source; ideal for powering the
industry’s latest DSP and microprocessors.
The series includes standard output bus
voltages as low as 1.0VDC.
The innovative copper case construction
provides superior thermal performance in a
small footprint. Both through-hole and
surface mount pin configurations are avail-
able. The PT6440 series operating features
include external output voltage adjustment,
an On/Off inhibit, and short-circuit protection.
A 100µF input, and 330µF output capacitor
are required for proper operation.
