Supports closed captions 608 on CVBS and 708 on HD­SDI signals.
The Thor H­MPEG2­H264­E broadcast
encoding system is designed to meet the
needs for professional broadcasting systems.
The system features support for almost all
types of video and audio inputs; including
HDMI (with HDCP), HD­SDI, Component,
and Composite. Audio support options
include analog unbalanced, digital XLR, and
embedded on SDI or HDMI. The platform
features an ASI multiplexer for combining
the output with externally encoded programs. Output is provided on dual ASI output ports, as
well as dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for IP streaming. Other features useful for broadcasters
include support for 608 and 708 closed captioning systems. 608 support is provided on the
CVBS input on standard line 21 input. 708 is supported on the ancillary field of the HD­SDI
input.
