The Thor H­8A­ENC system is an encoder
for unbalanced analog audio. The system
supports 16 mono or 8 pairs of stereo audio
inputs. Each channel is independently
controlled with independent gain controls.
Encoding is performed via the MPEG1 Layer
2 audio codec with many bit rates supported.
Once the audio is encoded, the output
streams are provided on both ASI and IP
network stream outputs in the form of an MPTS UDP feed. Control and settings can be made
either through the front panel keypad and LED display, or through a standard web browser on
a dedicated NMS Ethernet port. In addition to mirrored ASI outputs, the unit can also function
as a multiplexer with an independent ASI transport stream input. Contact a sales
