The H-1ASI-IP is a video gateway for DVB-IP
systems. It is often difficult and expensive to
set up DVB-ASI video transport links between
remote sites and central locations. Our IP
gateway offers an inexpensive and reliable
method for MPEG transport of ASI video over existing Ethernet IP networks. The H-1ASI-IP is an IP
encapsulater, meaning that the MPEG transport streams are carried over the packet based network.
Wireless access points and wireless bridges can also be used to increase functionality and versatility.
The ASI video gateway is an ideal solution for all of your MPEG transport over IP needs. Our units
feature a powerful embedded CPU for reliable encoding performance. The network interface is fully
compatible with all 10/100M Base-T networking equipment. Our UDP based protocol is specifically
designed for transporting video. We can include an ASI loop out on request, and our units feature
management via RJ-45 to work with our remote control software. These are rack-mount units that are
easy to install in broadcast headends. We now offer units that are bi-directional, transporting a DVB-
ASI stream in both directions.
