Product Overview
TDK RF Solutions’ HPA-8003 H-Plane Array of
Log Periodic Dipole Antennas is a new
generation compact antenna used for
transmitting and receiving broadband radio
signals. It is especially suited for multi-band and
broadband communication testing.
Performance The HPA-8003 provides optimal
performance over the wide operating
frequency range of 800 MHz to 3 GHz. The
frequency range of the HPA-8003 is intended
to cover the principal terrestrial
telecommunications bands.
Leading-Edge Design The HPA-8003’s
precision design features a reduced boom cross
section which results in excellent cross
polarization rejection. The quasi-frequency
independent H-plane array equalizes E and H-
plane beamwidths, reduces cross polarization,
and provides better phase center localization.
These features, combined with moderate power
handling capability, make the HPA-8003 an
excellent choice for both communications
testing as well as the most stringent metrology
applications.
