Laser marking for film capacitors from India
From August 1, 2013, the laser marking process at the plant in Nashik, India, will be
extended to all boxed and powder-dipped film capacitors of the EPCOS MKT and MKP type.
Laser technology is resistant to cleaning agents and creates less solid waste than ink-jet
marking. Starting in August and during a transitional period, it is possible that customers will
receive both capacitors with ink-jet and laser marking.
