Isolation DC Bus Converter
The BusQor^™ BQ50120QTA25 bus converter is a next-gen-
eration, board-mountable, isolated, fixed switching frequen-
cy dc/dc converter that uses synchronous rectification to
achieve extremely high conversion efficiency. The power
dissipated by the converter is so low that a heatsink is not
required, which saves cost, weight, height, and application
effort. The BusQor series provides an isolated step down
voltage from 48V to a 12V intermediate bus with no regu-
lation in a standard “quarter-brick” module. BusQor con-
verters are ideal for customers who need multiple outputs
and wish to build or buy point of load converters to work
with a 12V rail. RoHS Compliant (see page 12).

• Ultra-high efficiency, >96% at full rated load current
• Delivers up to 25 amps (300 Watts) of output current
(power) with minimal derating - no heatsink required
• Input voltage range: 42V – 53V
• Fixed frequency switching provides predictable EMI per-
formance

• Industry standard quarter-brick bus converter pin-out
• Industry standard size: 1.45” x 2.3” (36.8x58.4mm)
• Total height only 0.43” (10.9mm), permits better airflow
and smaller card pitch

ing (can avoid wave solder) using FPiP technique
