3 The board is now ready to connect to the âST BlueMSâ mobile App: available on official
stores for Android or iOS. For more details on the embedded software and the apps,
please refer to the BLUEMICROSYSTEM2 documentation on
www.st.com/bluemicrosystem.

System requirements
As the STEVAL-STLKT01V1 is already programmed with BLUEMICROSYSTEM firmware,
to run the demo, you only need:
ï· A smartphone or tablet with minimum Android⢠4.4 or iOS⢠8.0 operating systems
and minimum BLE technology 4.0
ï· A USB type A to mini-B USB cable for power supply (connected to a PC, AC adapter
or any other source)
To start designing your own project, you will need:
ï· A Windows⢠PC (ver. 7 or higher) with an IAR, KEIL or AC6 firmware development
environment
ï· A USB type A to Micro USB male cable to connect the STEVAL-STLKT01V1 to the
PC for power supply
ï· An STM32 Nucleo board with ST-Link V2.1 in-circuit debugger/programmer
(preferred) or other compatible device
ï· The ST-LINK Utility for firmware download (latest embedded software version on
www.st.com)
