P The STEVAL-ILB001V2 demonstration board is a
te complete reference system for a simple cost-
effective PFC (power factor corrector) using
le bipolar transistors and is intended for low-to-
so medium power HF ballasts.
b The proposed bipolar PFC solution targets the
O low-cost HF ballast market up to 80 W as it
- provides a simple cost-effective solution without
t(s) sacrificing THD and PF levels. No additional ICs
are required for the PWM signal as the device
c uses just a power bipolar transistor and a closed-
u loop feedback which performs the duty cycle
rod modulation and output power regulation.
P The active PFC solution with bipolar transistor
