u _DESCRIPTION
rod ^{This device has been especially designed to pro-}
tect subscriber line card interfaces (SLIC) against
P _{transient overvoltages.}
te ^{Positive overloads are clipped with 2 diodes. Neg-}
le ^{ative surges are suppressed by 2 thyristors, their}
breakdown voltage being referenced to
so ^{-VBAT through the gate.}
b ^{This component presents a very low gate}
trigge-ring current (I_GT) in order to reduce the cur-
O _{rent consumption on printed circuit board during}
- _{the firing phase.}
t(s) ^{A particular attention has been given to the internal}
wire bonding. The “4-point” configuration ensures
c reliable protection, eliminating the overvoltage in-
