How to migrate from STM32F10xxx FWLib V1.0
to V2.0
Introduction
The purpose of this application note is to explain how to migrate an application based on the
STM32F10xxx firmware library (FWLib) V1.0 to STM32F10xxx FWLib V2.0. To that aim, this
document does not provide detailed information on the two library versions, but it highlights
the differences between them.
In the rest of the document (unless otherwise specified), the term of FWLib will be used to
refer to the STM32F10xxx firmware library.
Glossary
Medium-density devices are STM32F101xx and STM32F103xx microcontrollers where
the Flash memory density ranges between 32 and 128 Kbytes.
High-density devices are STM32F101xx and STM32F103xx microcontrollers where the
Flash memory density ranges between 256 and 512 Kbytes.
