Acrich2 LED, which has 27â/W thermal resistance from junction to LED lead.
The maximum junction temperature of Acrich2 LED package is 125â. So permissible max lead
temperature Ts_max is
Ts_max = Tj_max - (Rqj-s * PD)
= 125â - (27â/W * 0.5W) = 111.5â
But, Recommendation of LED lead temperature is under 70â
Acrich2 IC, which has 5.5â/W thermal resistance from junction to top surface.
The maximum junction temperature of its IC is 125â. So allowable Acrich2 IC top surface
temperature (Tt_max) is
Tt_max = Tj_max - (yj-t * PD)
= 125â - (5.5â/W * 1.5W) = 116.8â
