Beschreibung
Der CSE25 uG (Capacitive Switch Element unter
Glas) ist ein kapazitiver Taster / Schalter der durch
einfache Näherung bzw. Berührung mit dem Finger
ausgelöst wird. Die Empfindlichkeit des Sensors ist
variabel festlegbar und lässt Betätigungen – auch mit
Handschuh - hinter einem Overlay bis zu 20 mm zu.
Als Overlay können alle nichtleitenden Werkstoffe,
z.B. Glas, Kunststoffe, Holz, Keramik etc., verwendet
werden.
Der CSE25 uG enthält keine mechanischen Teile, die
durch Verschleiß, Beschädigungen, Einfrieren oder
Verkleben zum Funktionsausfall führen können und
erreicht eine vielfach höhere Lebensdauer.
Der CSE25 uG kann folgende Schaltfunktionen
realisieren:
Taster: Der Schaltkontakt wird solange
geschlossen, wie betätigt wird.
Schalter: Der Schaltzustand wird bei jeder Betätigung
geändert, und bis zur nächsten Betätigung
beibehalten.
Der CSE25 uG wird mit verschieden farbigen,
punktförmigen Beleuchtungen angeboten. Wenn die
Beleuchtung extern angesteuert wird, kann z. B. eine
Beleuchtung bei Dunkelheit erfolgen. Wird die
Beleuchtung mit dem Schaltausgang verbunden,
leuchtet der CSE25 uG im Tastermodus bei
Betätigung auf (Feed Back), im Schalter-Modus zeigt
er seinen Schaltzustand (Ein / Aus) an.
Die Elektronik des CSE25 uG ist in einem Rahmen
komplett vergossen und ist somit dicht.
Der CSE25 uG findet seinen Einsatz u. a. im
öffentlichen Zugangsbereich, in der Medizintechnik, in
POI und POS.
Die vollkommene Trennung von Bedienebene und
der Schaltebene eröffnet weitere, vielfältige
Einsatzmöglichkeiten.

The CSE25 uG (Capacitive Switch Element under
glass) is a capacitive momentary / latching switch.
Activation is performed by touching or simply
approaching the surface. The sensitivity of the CSE25
uG can be controlled in a wide range: it is possible to
operate the CSE25 uG behind an overlay up to 20
mm thickness – even when the operator is wearing
gloves. All non-conductive materials e. g. glass,
plastics, wood, ceramic, etc. may be used as base for
the overlay.
Having no mechanical parts, malfunction by wearout,
damage, freezing or sticking is excluded (impossible)
and the parts have a much longer lifetime than
comparable mechanical parts.
CSE25 uG can be setup to several functions:
Momentary Switch: The switching contact will
close as long as the switch is
touched.
Latching Switch: The switch status will change with
every actuation and be kept until
the next actuation occurs.
CSE25 uG comes with point illumination in several
colors (4 LEDs in the corners). If the illumination is
controlled externally, you may realize a comfortable
operation during darkness. Connecting the
illumination directly to the switched output signal will
result in a feed back: the latching switch will be
illuminated as long as it is activated, the latching
switch will show, if it is turned on or off.
All electronic parts are completely molded within a
plastic frame. The assembly is therefore completely
dense.
CSE25 uG may be used in a public area, in medicine
applications, POI and POS.
The total separation of operation layer and switching
layer leads to multiple and various employments.
