General Description
BD83732HFP-M and BD83733HFP-M are 50V tolerant
LED current drivers. Suitable for Automotive LED
applications, it can control light through constant current
output with control using PWM.
Having LED open/short detective circuit and LED current
de-rating functions integrated, it can deliver high reliability.
By utilizing Rohmâs patented PBUS function, it is possible
to turn OFF all LEDs when a row of LEDs are
short/open-circuited if multiple number of the ICs are used
In case the LED connected to the output IOUT terminal
has 2 LEDs in serise, BD83732HFP-M has to be used, in
case of 3 LEDs in series - BD83733HFP-M ( Refer to
Page.18 LED Open Detection / Disable LED Open
Detection ).
